If we successfully pursue this path for you, it is likely we will be able to save you the cost you would have spent in filing for a patent application and you will have an issued patent as your cornerstone to proceed.

The patent search is not clear as to whether the prior art has a direct hit or is in the public domain.

Solution:

Have an appropriate patent attorney or patent agent render a patentability opinion.

Challenge #3

The patent search finds a patent that has expired and the invention is in the public domain.

Possible Solution:

Design a new solution using newer technology or design around the prior art.
